Non return valves help to prevent the residual pressure's backflow from entering the device in case it comes to a standstill. Otherwise this backflow can cause a reverse operation of the rotor which leads to damaged rotor vanes.
This valve is used within the pressure / vacuum range of +2 / -1 bar. The connection sizes are as follows: 1 1/4", 1 1/4".
